Backstory
Recently, I have been listening to audiobooks instead of podcasts while I am doing things. I find it quite nice, and I like how I can be involved in a story while I am doing other things, like building lego or walking the dog.
Not too long ago, I was watching a youtube video when somebody was talking about Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney, and I wanted to listen to the audiobook as I couldn't find it in the library. I had to pay for it on Spotify, so Mum added me to her BookBeat, and I have been having so much fun! I have only listened to thrillers, but I have managed to venture out and read books I have never heard of. It has been one of my favourite things to just sit, listen, drink a nice drink or do a wordsearch. It has really helped me stay off of my phone.
Although running out of hours on a bad day so I couldn't listen to the end of my book made me quite angry - did not help my mood.
I do not count audiobooks as reading, that is why I have kept them separate. It uses a different part of your brain. I also will not be using the audiobooks for GOT as I have to reread certain parts as I cannot comprehend.
